Pinterest in the Classroom

Pinterest is a great resource for teachers because they are able to share and glean ideas from fellow educators. For example, there is a 23 year Arkansas veteran educator that has experience with classroom organization, but there is a novice teacher in Florida who lacks that concept. The veteran educator may have posted a pin that will assist the novice teacher in getting her space orderly.

C.1.2.3 Explain the functions of government using local examples D2.Civ.5.K-2

The activity for this SLE is to compose a Google Slide using Google. The slide has to include at least 1 page introduction, 3 pages of information, and 1 source page if needed and have an adult check for spelling and grammar errors. The other requirements are as follows:
Correct grammar
Correct spelling
Correct information
Work well with partner

My Project:

1) I thought about what layout I wanted and put in the title and author in the designated spaces.

2) Then I looked on google to find information about Local Government and clicked on the Congress for Kids website. This will be the only source I use through the duration of this assignment.
3) I copied and pasted the information from the website to the Google Slide.
4) I then went back to the website and copied the information for the Legislative Branch...
5) ...And pasted it on the Slide.
6) I did the same for Judicial Branch...
7) ...And paste
8) I copied the link to the page...
9) and used the option under the "Insert" tab
And now I am finished with the Google Slide.

I completed this assignment because this is a simple assignment that incorporates technology.
